Live cost-burdened OR sacrifice living conditions?
“Cost burden” is defined as spending at least 30% of your monthly income on rent/mortgage payments.
Sacrificed living conditions could include, but are not limited to, distance to travel for work, size of home, property size, quality of living space, person(s) living with, location to amenities, and more.
Whichever option you choose, justify your reasoning with mathematics.
Teacher note: for my classes, we looked up rental costs of a 1-bedroom apartment in our area, and talked about the popular $15/hour minimum wage conversation. From there, things got interesting.
